We were very pleased with all the support and care given to our Mom and the help with selling Mom's apartment. You definitely went the extra mile in helping us to get rid of some belongings that we just ran out of room and time to sell in the limited time we had available. My only complaint would be if a family member is forced to sell due to a death or change in health status the family should not have to ask for special permission to stay to take care of all the things that need to be done to move that person out. We were thankful the board gave us permission to stay rather than paying for a hotel or having to rent a room which would have been very costly. Dave is a god send so kind and helpful with all things required.

I am writing this letter with great pleasure and appreciation of the many years I have spent at Michigan Shores. I have reached the point where I find that I cannot continue leading the wonderful independent life that Michigan Shores has offered me. I look forward to my life with my family, but I will always miss my years spent at Michigan Shores and the good times spent there. You and your staff have been a real blessing to me.

I feel so very fortunate to have been part of the Michigan Shores Cooperative. Everyone takes a hand in making this an extraordinary place to live. The members, the office staff and the grounds staff make concerted efforts to keep our home here friendly, well tended and safe. If I could have design a perfect place to live this would be it. The beauty of Lake Michigan, Crystal Lake, the woods and all the entertaining animals bring joy to the heart and soul. May you be fortunate enough to be able to live here some day?

I would like to extend my gratitude and appreciation for all of your help over the last several years as my mom battled various health issues and setbacks. Being in California, it would have been next to impossible for me to ensure her condo was taken care of and bills were being paid without your understanding and help. And, most recently, your help in selling her condo so quickly was such a huge service to my mom. The experience was so easy and you really went above and beyond to help me and my siblings. Thank you. I know other residents of Michigan Shores, and their families, can rest assured and feel really good to have you there to help them.
My mom really loved living at Michigan Shores. She was so excited to finally get in there and have a place there to call her own, to have such a sense of community, and to feel right at home in a safe, comfortable place. She would often send me pictures of deer standing outside by her patio, or of her latest home decor or home project she was doing.
While my mom now requires assisted living, I know she truly misses her condo, friends, and neighbors.

We thank you for making our move from Michigan Shores and selling our share so smooth. We enjoyed our five and a half years living there and only left because of our daughter buying a place next to her for us to live in.
