Meet the Cooperative Manager…

Shirley Robert is our Registered Cooperative Manager, and has managed the Michigan Shores Cooperative since January of 2006. She has been loyal to the Cooperative and dedicated to its goals and objectives for over 18 years. She is well informed of the laws, policies, and procedures for the management of housing cooperatives, and exercises diligence in her duties on behalf of the members and cooperative which she serves. Shirley has lived in Benzie County for over 25 years, is married and has adult children and grandchildren.

"People who live here don’t want the costly expenses of a single-family home and the real estate taxes that go along with it. They want a smaller home and built-in community. That’s one of the many advantages of a cooperative.”
